Improving School Lunch

August 28, 2015
Not happy with the food served at your child's school? Form a council, petition, and have your voices heard. Sugary cereals, processed, saturated fat filled high sodium sandwiches, and beverages like chocolate milk and fruit juice not only add zero nutritional value, they are also damaging our children's health by causing metabolic disorders, contributing to the obesity epidemic, and paving the way for chronic diseases such as cancer in adult hood.

Learn about changes we are advocating for at Boston Public starting with removal of juices/ empty sugar calories that are harming our children's health.
