There are many choices we are faced with daily that have the power to either cause or prevent disease. There are the obvious ones, such as conscious decisions we can make around abstaining from alcohol and cigarettes to keep our bodies free from the toxins that tax our systems and introduce harmful, cell damaging chemicals. Then, the not so obvious ones that many doctors or so-called health specialists don't promote  - especially when it pertains to food, our number one defense against disease...such as choosing organic over GMO, glass over BPA, fresh over canned. And other consumer products...paraben free, pthalate, and pesticide free. The list goes on. So much to remember and easy to feel overwhelmed. But when you look at consumption in the context of the what is natural vs what is not, in the end the right choices become ever more clear. The closer you are to nature, the further you will be from disease.
